Zone Reports show where employees spend their time and how much time they collectively invest in each area.
- Time by Tag displays the total time captured by each tag during the selected period. You can drill down to see time spent in each zone, or use the Detailed View to see exactly when a person entered, exited, and how long they stayed in each zone during their shift.
- Time by Zone flips the view and shows all tags that spent time in a specific zone.
Remind employees that the primary purpose of the system is to enhance their safety by offering a straightforward and quick method to summon assistance when needed.
Zone logs where the exit time is within the time parameters are included in the report. For example, if the report begins at 7 AM and the employee was in a zone from 6:45 AM - 7:05 AM, the 20 minutes that they were in that zone will be counted towards the time captured totals. If the time parameters ends at 3 PM, the report will only include zone logs where the exit time is before 3 PM.
Each report has Minimum and Maximum Time in Zone filters. For example, if a tag sits in a locker and exceeds the maximum threshold in a single zone, that time will be excluded from the report.
Zone logs are reported in the app user’s local time zone. To align with the work site, simply adjust the report’s start and end times.
Shift Reports show total staff hours by area and time period.
- In the card settings, add a shift by setting the start and end times, then select the zones you want to include.
- The graph displays a bar for each shift, showing the total hours captured within those zones by the selected tags.
- Expanding the card allows you to customize the time parameters and view detailed employee time logs.
Zone logs where the exit time is within the time parameters of the shift will be included. For back-to-back shifts, any overtime is rolled into the next shift’s total hours.
Yes. Shifts can span up to 24 hours. For longer coverage, expand the card and adjust the time parameters.
This specific report has a Time Zone setting in the card settings.
Expand the card to adjust the time parameters as needed.
No. The report only includes data from the zones you selected in the card settings.
You can set a date range from 1 to 30 days in the card settings. For example, with a 7-day range, the graph shows total cumulative hours worked on each shift for the last 7 days.
Currently you can include up to 50 zones.
Time Allocation shows how employees spend their hours across different types of work, such as patient care, administrative tasks, or prep areas.
- In the card settings, assign each zone to a category (for example: Admin, Transit, Patient Care).
- The report sums up all time logs for the selected employees and displays a pie chart showing the percentage of time in each category.
- Expanding the report reveals a breakdown by employee.
“Other” includes time logs from zones that were not categorized in the card settings.
A zone can have one category per card. A single zone may have differing functions depending on the role. To a nurse, the zone may be an Admin area while to another staff role the zone may be a Transit area. Create a second Time Allocation report for the second staff role.
Currently 10 zones can be added to a single category.
Activity Insights compare recent movement patterns against long-term baselines, making it easy to see shifts in how people work.
- Recent time spent in each area is measured against a baseline (for example, 30 days) that is split into intervals matching the recent time period.
- The system calculates the mean, median, and standard deviation from these intervals to highlight changes in behavior.
- If the baseline period does not divide evenly into intervals, the oldest extra time is discarded to keep comparisons accurate.
- The light blue background shows the historic average.
- The dark blue line shows the recent average.
- The diagonal lines show the standard deviation.

Yes. You can add multiple employees in the card settings, then scroll through the report to review each one.
No. In the card settings, you can enable Exclude Days Without Data and set Minimum/Maximum Time in Zone. These options ensure that days when the employee is absent do not affect the averages.
